Peer Workers
Lifeplan Peer Workers have a ‘lived experience’ similar to those of our customers. These lived experiences range from a variety of community experiences, including mental health, indigenous services, drug and alcohol, youth work, LGBTI, immigration and refugee services. Having people with lived experiences in this peer worker role is incredibly valuable, as they can directly relate to the experiences and share their own personal stories of recovery and survival. Peer workers use their experience to support, inspire, educate, build confidence and resilience.
Lifeplan can specifically employ a peer worker based on your unique criteria. Peer workers have been there and remain there with you while your own journey unfolds. Talk to us today about how a Peer Worker can help you!

Mentors
Lifeplan Mentors have real-world experience, and are there to support and guide you. The role of the Mentor is based around learning and moving forward. Mentors are used in many situations; it is common for people who are new to the business sector to obtain the support of a mentor to guide them. In community services mentors are valued extensively in youth work, indigenous services and are becoming more common in the disability and mental health services.
Lifeplan can help source a Mentor at your request, to help get you to the next phase in your life plan. Contact us today, to discuss how a Mentor can help you on your journey!
