National Disability Insurance Scheme
Lifeplan is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered service provider, meaning we deliver our services to participants of the NDIS. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with local co-ordinators, planners, guardians, carers and accommodation providers.
HOW DOES LIFEPLAN SUPPORT ME THROUGH NDIS?
Lifeplan is an experienced NDIS WA disability services provider. If you are an NDIS participant and you are interested in Lifeplan’s support services, please contact our friendly team who will be more than happy to assist.
However, if you are not an NDIS participant and are still unsure on your eligibility, or have other questions regarding the NDIS, please contact an NDIS representative.
WHAT IS THE NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS is a way to help people in Australia with disability get care and support. The NDIS also helps families and carers with information and support services to help care for people with disability.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THE NDIS?
If you are a person with a disability and want to join the NDIS, you need to meet access requirements. Some of these include the availability of the scheme, where you live, your age, your residency status, your disability, and in some cases your early intervention requirements. WHAT TYPE OF SUPPORT DOES THE NDIS FUND?
The types of support the NDIS fund for participants include daily personal activities, community, social and daily life activities, workplace support, help with household tasks and many more. Full list of the supports funded by the NDIS can be found here.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR NDIS?
Lifeplan is a NDIS service provider, however you cannot apply for NDIS through Lifeplan. To apply for NDIS you need to complete and submit an access request form to the NDIS. The access request form along with other important information required can be found on the NDIS website here.
